- I loved
the e-Retreat because all I had to do was take 15 minutes out of
my morning and 20 out of my evening to reflect, instead of a whole
3 days, in which at this time of year, I never would have been able
to do!! Thank YOU!
- What was
most helpful was the
various sources to read and meditate on (Scripture, stories, personal
accounts, etc.) It was REALLY nice to do this retreat in the comfort
of my home at my own pace. I thought all the readings were the perfect
length and stayed true to the topic of discernment, not necessarily
for religious life only.
- I didn’t
have anything planned for December and I had told myself that I wasn’t
going to participate in anything else regarding discernment (because
I have participated in many retreats and read books on discerning
the religious life). I accepted the e-Retreat invitation. I am glad
I did because God gave me so many unexpected blessings from remaining
open. I’ve
enjoyed every retreat I’ve ever attended and each one revealed
something different to me, but the e-Retreat proved to me that you
don’t
need to travel to discern – the answers are right inside you.
You just need a good discernment process.
- This
e-Retreat helped me in looking at vocation in the light of sanctity,
as fulfillment of God’s dream through me. Listen, trust, patience,
courage and a determination to stagger on are the essentials for
the journey. I have learned much in this e-Retreat, each day is
a new day to look forward for there is something new to learn from.

- The entire
experience was of great help. From the moment I said my "YES" to
the weekend - it just felt good and a right decision. It all seems
to tie in to the topics of Sr. Debbie's talks. By saying my "YES" to
the invitation and keeping an open heart and receptive attitude -
God has gifted me with great peace and a thankful heart.
